What You Will Do in This Class

Home Activity

Find out at least 10 English books with no Japanese notes, and read them through, but don't translate them into Japanese. Remember that 10 books should be ten books, not a collection of short stories. When you choose a book of short stories, you will have to read all stories in the book, not one story or some stories, and the book will be counted as one. Write a review of each book, prove in it that you have really read the book from page 1 to the end, and understood the main points, and give the review to me. Each paper should be given to me according to the deadline shown in the schedule. If there is a point you are not sure of, bring the book and the pamphlet and ask me.

Class Activity

Give a booktalk, speech about a book you have read, at least once, in front of the class, and answer questions from other students and me. Only two students can give booktalks in a week.

Ask at least one question a year. Asking many questions can give you many points.
